While browsing around the del.icio.us I noticed that Benjamin Grant has updated his del.icio.us module for Drupal just a few days ago. I always experienced issues with the first module release, and decided to try the 0.4 update. Joy! Ben has done a fantastic job with bring del.icio.us and Drupal together.

Noticeable feature are a recent del.icio.us’ed block, with an unlimited choice for amount and the del.icio.us page which brings my whole damn collection right to my site. I believe a bit of work is still required but all and all hot damn!
Do not grab the 0.1 offered as an archive file, rather head strait to the CVS and grab the newest module and style sheet. Create a folder called delicious in the module directory and copy the module and CSS into the newly created delicious folder. Visit example.com/admin/modules and enabled the module, then example.com/admin/settings/delicious for configuring the block number, account, and the others. Run CRON.php, enable the block and visit example.com/delicious for our results.
On to issue, I have been playing with this module for a while now and I still have no clue what the hell two of the features are. Crosslink claims to link to a del.icio.us tag corresponding to the node's first term, but it seems impossible to enable that without fixing the code problem. The other feature is smart tagging which claims that words in node bodies matching del.icio.us tags and will be linked to del.icio.us. WTF? I would believe that if I had a tag in del.icio.us called DRUPAL that any word of my blog entry would link to http://del.icio.us/tags/DRUPAL, right? I do not understand, and that is why I wrote this entry to test all my tags.
Anyways, I am sure this will appear on Drupal Talk via Feedster and if that does happen other developers will see this. Feel free to contact me via feedback if you need some assistance or would like to assist me.
