This brief blog entry will note a few tactics I employ to earn some gold and have fun in the on-line world of Guild Wars via resales. Regardless if your Guild War's character is Player Vs. Player (PvP) or Player Vs Environment (PvE) Guild War's gold is a part of your in-game activities. So what's the best way to earn some extra platinum? Lucky for us, GW offers common world areas, such as towns and outposts, where all players can gather & meet. Trading and resales then is the easiest way to earn < 200% ROI. The obvious choices are to flip mini pets, tomes, &/or weapons...

In my experience elite tomes are by far the simplest way to earn 3k-6k in as little as two minutes. Each profession has an elite skill tome that allows the character who reads it to learn a skill for that profession that they have already unlocked elsewhere for the account.

Luna and Czar

First you must (MUST) research the items in which you wish to purchases and supply. Print out or bookmark my price check cheat-sheet (http://czarism.com/wiki/gw#tomes) and open the party trade window (P). Look for someone who WTS Elite x Tome at half (or near half) 'retail value', RUN over and buy that tome, Re-List the tome at 'retail value', & wait (or shuffle to different out-posts.) Easy-peasy. Doing this with the proper attitude and techniques will ensure profit upwards of 30k a day. Notable tomes which grant profit are dervish, necromancer, mesmer & paragon. While the other tomes will bring resale profit the 'retail value' is better known and less 'deals' are found.

Note about miniatures: While deals are out there, the 'retail value' is better known on mini pets and are best avoided to earn easy-peasy guild wars gold.

Note about weapons and weapon mods: While profit in this class is also easy, the supply is simply to to much while the demand is few. This leads to cut-throat prices and grief.
