Although I have never personally visited LokiTorrent’s web site (I support the eD2k network 100%) the battle against all peer-to-peer communities is under siege by various United State organizations. Last week our beloved ShareConnector was sezed, along with many other p2p ‘hubs’ including LokiTorrent.com (view original notice letter).
Official notice from Lokitorrent.com
(12/28 UPDATE!) LokiTorrent is officially being sued by the MPAA (Image of the legal paper here)! If you've ever benefitted (sic) from this site or file-sharing in general, now is the time to show your support. We are looking at a cost of $30K per month in fees. Please don't think that reaching 100% will ensure an open and shut case, as we all know the tactics of the MPAA. Recent estimates by attorneys are looking at 2-3 times this amount in a full-on battle. Help us fight back and ensure your right to share doesn't end here.
You heard the man! If you have ever benefited from p2p, now is the time to show your support. Visit http://www.lokitorrent.com for additional information from the source.
c|net also has an excellent article about this store.

Staff Writer, CNET News.comThe latest peer-to-peer site to come into the legal crosshairs of the motion-picture industry promised this week to fight, and put out a virtual hat to finance its legal fund.
LokiTorrent, a Web site and index of files available through a peer-to-peer technology known as BitTorrent, posted a letter from the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) on its site on Tuesday. The letter states that the MPAA has filed suit in district court in Texas against the site and demands that Loki Torrent cease linking to video files that could infringe on studios' copyrights.
