can someone give me directions to the "7 gates of hell"..me and some friends want to check it out

If you go to sit in the front of the gates for a little while u will get chased down the the mountain road by a ghoast car and it will disapier when youve reached the bottom. And if u park there crybaby hollow will sometimes scrach on the bottom of ur car and you will heir her cry but only on cold nights!

The Seven Gates of Hell are located in York, Pennsylvania. I live there. Many of my school mates claim to have been there. Also in York is the site of the infamous Hex Murder. My father's friend owns the house that the murder took place in and he has been there. I have pics of the house. Come visit them in York!!

Can you tell me a little about this place anyone? me and some friends want to go the way i hear its like Riches fright farm a little like you have to pay and stuff if anyone could give me any information i would appriciate that Thanks

People claim they know where the gates of hell are located? I know Toad Rd. is now called Trout Run Road in Hellam, PA. Please explain where exactly these gates are located or should I say where these gates were located? Be specific if you really know where these gates to this mental hospital are located?

Where is it & how do you get there?

i have heard that this place is real from a few people and that it is fake from a few people. can anyone tell me one way or the other. it sounds pretty scary to me and i would really like to check it out. so any and all information is welcome. please help me out guys!!!

Last night me and 9 of my friends set out from Lancaster, Pa in hopes to attempt the walk through the 7 gates. I was totally against the idea, but majority rules and i got stuck in the back of my friends truck with 3 other guys, while the 5 others went in a seperate car. We followed in the truck, as the other car had directions. I was cool with the idea until we got pretty far back off the highway in what seemed like the middle of no where. After getting lost a time or two, we finally made it to Toad Road. At this point, I was so creeped and would've done just about anything to go back home. So we are driving down Toad Road, surrounded by either trees or fields on either side when the pavement ends and we end up on a gravel road. We aren't even down the road when we see 4 boys leaning against a cop car. The cop the proceeds to approach our car and tell us that each of the 4 boys have to pay a $400 dollar fine for trespassing and that the gates of hell are bullshit. Sorry guys, don't mean to burst your bubbles but don't waste your time on trying to find this place.

the 7 gates are torn down and the mental hospital. only the first gate stands and is locked in hope to keep kids out. the cops are all over the place. the gates were right along the main road, you had to drive through them on the road.

Ive been down to "The Seven Gates of Hell" I went with a couple friends. Honestly we went through the first gate and all this weird shit started happening to my friends car. The lights would come on and off when the keys werent even in. The windows rolled up and down. We kept seeing shit. We didnt even make it past the first gate and I guess im chicken shit because I dont want to attempt to ever again. Ive been to Hollow plenty of times. I go almost every other night to drink with a couple friends. not a damn thing happens when we go. Ive been IN the pond there as well...Nothing has happend. I dont believe in the bullshit with the hollow, at least I havent had any real proof its haunted. i've seen the house, going past it, nothing has happend. So unless there is someone who has actually been inside the house near the house or even at the hollow who has seen something real lemme know. Cause so far. The hollow is nothing but woods surrounding a normal house like any other house in the woods. Its our minds that make us think there are scary things going on. our minds is what makes us see things that arent really there. Me and some of my friends tried to go to the gates but like many other people we were stopped by police along with the 50 other people they caught that night. guys, dont waste your time going up there, only the first gate is still up there and there are cops everywhere. it'll be a waste even if you make because theres only one gate left.

Did anyone every stop to think that if something that huge happened, like the story of the mental hospital patients escaping and being tortured and killed, the public would have found out and there would be records? I think that the story sounds more like a over done movie plot than a haunted area. Also, there may be 7 gates of hell, but that dosen't mean that they have to be around each other. For all anyone knows they could be spread around the country or world, because christianity is not only a religion in the US.

only the parts that jut out of the ground are still around from the first gate... i live about 10 min. from the location... i've been there before and we've walked through the woods but found nothing and neither will you... my ancestors have lived in the area for years and the gates were taken down years ago and the small amount that can be seen of the first one can hardly even be seen during the winter when no leaves are on the trees.. it's a very old tale that little kids who think they have balls go and try to do

I was never at the 7 Gates of Hell untill friday night(10/27). I was with my best friend lauren and we were on our way to what we thought was a halloween party on Trout Run Road aka Toad Road. We got the directions from our friend that lives on Trout Run Road and she said that her driveway would be hard to see but just go slow and look for it. I live like 10 miles away and had never been in the Mount Wolf area but I know Hellam pretty good. Anyways Im driving down Trout Run Road and all seems fine. It was a little creepy cause it was 1:00 am and really dark and really windy and all there is on that road is woods and old barns. We saw a few houses but we didnt see any lights on so we just kept going looking for my firends halloween party. Then Lauren and I came to a sign that said pavement ends and it turned into a gravel road. I kept saying I cant belive she live all the way out here because the road was winding and up and down hills and all there was was corn feilds and woods. A good 5 or 6 miles in Lauren says "Amanda do you know where we are? Because I think we're at the 7 gates of hell!! Turn around go back!!" I was just like oh god! So I turned around as fast as i could and headed back down the hill. I looked in my rear view mirror and I saw a jeep or car of some sort behind me but it had to have been at least a 1/2 mile back. Two seconds later Lauren says why is this guy riding your ass?! GO GO GO!! and i speed up and so did the car behind me. Our hearts were pumping so fast. Then the jeep high beemed me and kept them on. I ran the only stop sign on Trout Run Road and so did he! Then we finally made it to Druck Pond Road and the jeep behind us was gone. Were so scared we just went home and never made it to the halloween party. I called my cousin who is a policeman for springettsberry township and he said he was surprised that we didnt see any cops down there. Im not sure how for we had went into to gates but i dont want to go back and find out!

i know what road u were on and i have travaled up and down that road a couple of times to try and find the seven gates. i think that i found them on that road but i am not sure. but what i think it is u have to get out of ur car and go into the woods so u didn't go throw any of them u were just driving on trout run road. but just about 3 weeks ago( the first time i went lookin for the gates) i had something like that happen to me. my one friend was driveing and i was in the back of the car with a couple of my friends and we were just driving on the road, the spot that we thing is the seven gates we were all sitting in my car, in front of it gettin ready to get out to go throw it and i turned around and say headlights about a 1/2 a mile away. so i said it could be a cop so i told my friend to just drive the road and make a cirlce somewhere( b/c the road is just really a big cirlce) and we will caome back. so we just started driving and this car slowly started to catch up with us. so we started to take all of the really sharp turns a fast as we could w/o sliding off the road and that car was still getting closer. so at the end of the road we made a right on to another road (make the big circle) and the car followed us. at the spot were we where suppost to make a right again, just before it is a big stone spot were u can take that instead of go like 2 feet and turning on to trunt run b/c it all coneckes to the road, so anyways we toke that and the car went the other way to get on the road and we just stopped on this big spot of a stone driveway thing and sat there. and the car sat alone sit of the road behind us. so we desided to just sit there to see if it would leave. we sat there for 5 mins doing nothin. so then we turned our four ways on and signaled for it to go around and it didn't, it just sat there. then after like 15 mins of that we just drove back down trunt run to go back to the seven gates and me and the other girl in the back juat staired out the back window to watch the car. it started to follow us again. we hit this straight away were there is nothing but woods and a corn field and all of a sudden the car just vanished. we quickly turned around to see where it went and there was no sign of the car anywere! idk what happened but all i no is i'm goin back very soon to see if i really did find the seven gates. that car really didn't scare me away.

I was at the 7 Gates in York with my 2 buds. We did some research on it and found it using the Weird PA handbook. It was during the day, so we did not have the criteria as per the book. However, we made it to what we believe was the second or third gate, and started to hear sounds. Since we didn't have any alibi, we bolted. We are hoping to plan a summer documentry excursion and get the permits given a budget.
From what I have seen of the maps, I cannot find a reasonable location of the "fire" or the hospital. Unless the path is longer that estimated, the only other possible location is just west of Range Road. If anyone has information, black_ice01forever@yahoo.com is where I might be reached.

Of course the cops are gonna say the seven gates are bullshit and that it was torn down. So there are no more trespassers.

I wanna go. Once me and my friends get our licenses we gladly will meet up with anyone willing to sneak past the cops and go through the seveth gate.

I went to the seven gates if hell and my friends and i were joking around about how this place is a bunch of bull. My friends and i were walking throught the first gate, second, third, and fourth. We basically ran through all the ghosts, zombies, demons, and when we got to the fifth gate we stoped runnin. We saw a figure in the distance. It weas runnin at us with a chainsaw and it screamed a name. We heard the words: CHAINSAW CHUCK! We ran away as fast as we could. My two friends and i were the first out. We looked back and heard a scream. My friend was no where to be found. We got in the car and sped off never going back again.

The 7 Gates of Hell is a mind control underground experimental center used for experiments on mental patients and local people in the surrounding area for the Shadow Governments non-lethal warfare program. Joesef Mengele "The Nazi Angel Of Death" runs the facility doing mind control experiments using "trance" drugs and microwave technology. When trying to pass the gates and especially the last gate there is such a mass of microwaves being thrown at you that you will go crazy if you continue and may receive brain damage. Joesef Mengele is still alive by taking youth drugs he developed. He also still performs experiments at the Harrisburg state mental instituion in the underground tunnels even though it also was closed down recently. There are police (actually armed guards) there to keep you out of the area. You would be well advised to stay out of the area or risk your mental health.

i went to the gates of hell and all my friends died except me because of my catlike reflexes and amazing athletic ability. You don't have to worry about outrunning the gosts, you only have to outrun your friends.

I was with a few of my friends the other week (the current date is december 3rd 2006). Ive been doing a whole bunch of research on this place: regarding where cops hide out, when the right times are to go, when to see things, where gates are located, and i have found out quite a lot of information. If you want to see a good image of everything and where things are located, visit local.live.com and type in Trout Run Road, York PA. A map will come up and at the intersection that says "glades" on it, follow that road untill you reach an a long road that eventully turns into what looks like a biiiigggg rectangle. i HAVE NOT been back to investigate, but i want to sometime soon. So,my friend told me about this the other night. Ive become almost fascinated with it. I have family a few hours away and we plan to go check it out sometime next summer. I have been back on the road on which the 7 gates of hell are located. My mamaw lives in the trailor park about a mile from it. Friends and I went back on the road about 2 weekends ago. Along Toad Road, there are 3 different gates and I don't know which one is actually the first gate. We were back there sometime after midnight and I was going to walk up to the first gate by myself until we noticed a change in the sound her motor made. I know it was probably because we were parked there for a while but it still scared us. Also, everytime I go back on that road, I never see any cops. I would be afraid to go back there and get shot because there's a shooting range off of Range Road, the other part off of Toad Road. I am definately willing to go back into the gates and witness what happens. I have heard too many stories and want to find out the truth.

yea i went back there last night sat june 6th 2007 and we walked the trail for like 3 miles and didnt c shit the only thing that happend is are shoes got all fucken muddy. we went on toad road and were it turns into the stone road we stoped at the first turn and there was a old gate to the left and a newer green gate to the right we went threw the old gate to the left now my question is did we go to the right spot or what some with more info please tell me

look... I've been through the gates once, when all of them were standing. not all of them, I don't have the strongest self-control. I'm happy to read the police is guarding the place now, as they have all reason to do. the last years I've been trying to deny that I ever heard of the gates, because travelling through them was very traumatic, and the main reason I moved from Pensylvania. I know my comment will just make you more curious, but believe me, it's not worth it! just don't go there! forget you ever heard about the place!

Don't worry about the ghosts and dead people at the 7 Gates of Hell. It's the live people you need to worry about when making your documentary. Think Tunnels. 4th Reich. Joesef Mengela. Haarp. Mind Conrol. New World Order. Harrisburg Mental Instituion to the north. Aberdeen military proving grounds to the south. Charles Roberts to the east and the tunnel complex near Gettysburg. If you can think out of the mold then you just may have a great story to tell. What and where are these Gates to hell, I was doing some research on the supposed three gates to hell on Earth and found this website, not at all the same thing apparently but gates of anykind always prick my interest, where and what exactly?

You need to look at the photo's to determine which Gate is the "FIRST GATE".

If you are really serious, and I mean really serious, and are not truly afraid to find the 7 gates of Hell in Hellam. Go to the Harrisburg Mental Hospital. It is closed down now. But, if you can make it inside go down below the basement. There are "underground tunnels" the likes of nothing you have ever seen down there. Extending over 18 acres. Large doors. There are hidden doors. These tunnels run to Hellam "the 7 gates of hell" with a straight line down to the military Aberdeen Proving Grounds. The story of the century is down there to tell. If you make can it back to tell. You'll need a deflector "microwave" proof helmet. Hurry fast though. Many of these tunnels are currently being caved in to hide what went on down there in the past and what is going on now. Only the truly brave, the truly serious and the truly courageous should seek this adventure out. A real American warrior. A bounty hunter. a couple of monthes ago me,my brother, and my parents went 2 the gates of hell and my dad started at gate 5 and we went from 5 to 4 and then 4 to 3 but we couldnt find the 2 and 1 gate so we just went back home and NO COPS ARE ANYWHERE NEAR THEM

ok the 7 gates of hell are located in hallam PA right out side of york.. to find them you have to find OLD toad Rd not toad rd old toad Rd is now over grown with trees and shrubs but once you find it just start walking and you'll see where the gates start and have fun from there.. just follow trout run rd. it turns to dirt then right before it goes to pavement again look to the left thats the old rd. take that rd what is now no more than a trail and good luck..

Me and two friends decided to go check it out last night. We found Toad road which is now Trout Run road, that part was easy. We parked like a mile or so away, and then walked to the gravel road, then down the clearing. We then came to a steep incline, which we went down. At the bottom we came to the river. Since it was dark, we didn't have a flashlight, or any knowledge of where the gates or hospital site might be, we didn't cross the river. We just walked back to the car. We did get questioned by some cops, and they said that the seven gates were bullshit. But they were more concerned to see if we had drugs. So we left with no problems. We didn't experience anything weird in the area we were at. But now that we've been down there we want to go back. Does anyone have specific details on where the gates actually are once you're in the woods?

Seven Gates of hell.... my friend and i went last night to the famous trout run road. When we got to the 1st gate it was old and we knew we were in the right place. As we continued through 2nd 3rd and 4th we heard noises and people crying. A gun shot went off but it could of been the shooting range near by. You probably think this is a joke but no as we were continuing through the 5th gate we heard a chainsaw.. it was coming closer! We freaked out and ran back to our car. But the lights were flickering on and off but i had the keys in my hand. We jumped in and sped off.. but when my friend looked behind us making sure the chainsaw man didn't jump on our car she saw headlights getting closer. There wasn't any cops so we just kept speeding, the car kept following. We thought he was signaling us to come back to finish our journey to the 7th gate OF HELL! Do not go... do not attempt. Someone will get you, someone will! We garauntee IT! The jeep got right up behind us.. but there wasn't anyone in it. I stepped on the gas and kept going. The jeep finally disappeared. It just vanished. We will never go back. Don't ever go to the SEVEN GATES OF HELL.

I heard that after the 3rd gate all of your electronics go out, and that one time a guy went through all seven gates, they found him on the side of the road a couple days later insane. According to research, Dr. Mengele is dead. In 1979, he died, drowning in a river in Brazil. How could he be alive in the USA near or on the property of the seven gates? It just doesn't make sense. So, I was thinking about planning a trip down to york sometime soon and I was reading all of your intresting stories. a few don't really add upto much. Although, I've been doing alot of research about this and found NOTHING about an old abandon asylum anywhere near there. I went to Yahoo maps and looked on the hybrid view of the area. I found the road and the shooting range and I also can maybe see the "7 gates trail" although, I'm a bit unsure as to if thats it or not. Now, I scanned the area and found NO large abandon asylum. I know if it would be torn down there would be a large empty field of some sort. So, If I cannot find the asylum or the ground, I would have to beleave this and all information is false. I mean satalites don't lie. Do they? There are ALOT of houses in that area so, I heard maybe it could be a large house. Well, I also found no large house in that area either.

Hey, I live in York, PA and there is this road Druk Valley and that leaves of to a Trout Run Road. One time me and my friends went looking for it, but there was no luck at all. There were no other roads off of this road and i'm pretty pretty sure that there are no roads called Toad Road. I once heard that they nicknamed Trout Run Road because the onwer of the mental asylum would put toads on signs that were in out in front of his bulising to tell people to keep away.

Hello again my name is Jenna and I was reading one of these comments about the location. When me and my friends went looking we went to the end of Trout Run Road. We saw three little "passages" that you could take. We decided to take the one that was closes to this big white house. We saw a red gate, but I have seen the same gates all over that area. One kid that we were with said that a friend of his went back that same path we took about a 1/2 mile and he said that no paranormal activity went on. My friend and I just looked at Trout Run Road on this map. We saw a faint path that lead to what looked like an area that had something on there before. Which was right next to the path that me and my friends took. Also there was a sign right before the path that we took. some kids took out their cell phones and tried to read it, but it didn't help at all. There is no Toad Road anymore it's called Trout Run Road.

So if there was such a thing as the seven gates, whay hasn't anyone ever taken a video camera to prove it. Also, the seven gates is not that unheard of, so i figure SciFi would have sent in the ghost hunters by now. Was it ever decided if the seven gates were in York or Chester. And if there are seven gates, wouldn't there be seven locations? Someone said there was one in kentucky which is totally believable because Kentucky is a really wierd place. If I died and had my choice of haunting a place, it would be in kentucky.

I live about 15 minutes away from the 7 Gates of Hell (it's just up the road from the York Galleria Mall). I've been there 3 times, during the day, mind you, but not knowing that it was the exact location of the gates until recently. I go up that way every year for a forest walk for my school's environmental club. The man who owns the land up there also owns a local tree farm, and he always gives us a tour of the land and shows us trees. I've never really felt anything odd, but that could have been because I went in the afternoon. Our group met at the corner of Trout Run Road and Range Road to start the walk back in the woods. Nothing creepy happened until this last time i was there, and as we were walking by an old stump, there was this machete knife stuck into the tree. This was pretty deep into the woods, about 1-2 miles in. I never saw any gates, but then i found out later that apparently all but the first gate were torn down. Never saw any cops, but again, it could be because it was during the day. I'm going up there again this winter, and I'll ask more about where the gates are, because I really want to see something that is actually scary in York. Also while we're walking through the woods we get to this part where there are beer bottles galore on the ground. Part of me thinks that the "scary" part of the gates is just a bunch of drunk kids scaring people. I couldn't even see the first gate from Trout Run Road, but it was in the winter and I heard it's hard to see the gate from the road when there are no leaves on the trees.

A bunch of kids from my school went to the gates last year a bit before halloween and reported that at the 3rd gate, they lost all cell phone reception and at the 4th gate, their flashlights died, so they ran back.

i'd say that if you live close, come check it out. but don't make a pilgrimage from far away for some cheap thrills.

I live in Roanoke, VA. The Route 666 Catawba that you speak of is a real place. I used to go camping down that very road alot during the summertime. But the problem is that THE GATES are not there. I'm sure of that. Throughout High School these GATES were always talked about, always sought after, but never found. But the general area is down Hardy Road, off of Hardy Road. Vinton VA-Bedford County. This IS the general location.This road will take you to the direction of Smith Mt. Lake. But if there are a Seven Gates of Hell, it would be off of that road. Lets put it this way, I can go to a small house party in Roanoke and ask random people about the GATES, and at least a few people have heard about it. The problem is locating it? Yup, there is. It's just outside a town called Stull, ks. There used to be a church standing in the center of the graveyard, however it was torn down due to mesterious deaths and injuries. There are also cops watching that place, as well as the locals will chase you off. Other that that, don't have any eye-witness material to say whether this is a valid site or not. I have heard it said the Pope will not fly over Stull ks due the the Gate to Hell. I've been a Central Ks resident all my life, never heard of another place with the most potential for the Kansas gate.

I have heard stories of the 7 Gates being in Roanoke from a couple of friends I used to work with. I will email her and see if she can tell me any more about them, but from what I remember about the stories they talked about the gates are kinda over the road. Nobody can ever get through them all but if you do you supposedly die??? I love reading stories about stuff like this!!!

The first story on this page is about the chester county gates of hell, which is a mansion which was torn down sometime between 2001 & 2004.

My boyfriend went there awhile back before we even knew each other but he told me the story. The first three gates apparently you see orbs floating around and you hear noises in the woods like people moving about. He didnt get get far past the forth gate cause once he stepped past it he heard agonizing screams coming from all around him. He had to yell at his friend next to him just to hear and there were shadowy shapes running about. Finally they ran out before the fifth gate unable to take it anymore. Seriously do not waste your time or gas trying to go back on toad road. My friend's grandpa owns the land and has torn all the gates down except for the first one to keep retards like you out. The only trail that is back there is a trail for the logging company to drive through. The clear cut path down to the codorus creek is for the electric lines that run back there. My friends all live about 5 minutes wasy and we always went back there way back in high school and the only thing running through the woods was a bunch of deer we stumbled upon. If you really want to find some spooky shit, go up to gettysburg and walk around the battlefied, especially around devils den. Check that out it would be more worth it. as for Toad Road, its not even called that anymore. The only thing back there is a dirt road with one house and a huge hillbilly with a shotgun ready to blow your head off.

i dont no wat to believe. some of my friends said that when they went to the 7 gates of hell in hellam, that they got to the 3rd gate and heard and saw some crazy shit. i only ever went once and was with my girlfriend. we got to the 2nd gate and my boyfriend started to try and scare us, but that all back fired on him when he saw something that look liked a deamon. so we ran. i would like to go back but i dont think my girlfriend and botfriend want to anytime soon. but if anyone has any GOOD info on this place and has actually been past the 2nd gate lemme no.

We have been back their several times now and there are 3 possible locations for the gates to be. One is the old logging road on top of the hill, another is down the hill where the pavement stops, there is an opening in the woods there that could be a path. THe last one is where we think the gates may be. It is on a corner where there are 2 old metal gates one is to the right the other is to the left. The one to the left runs parallel to the road. This old gate has red spray paint on it. Also their is a sign post in the ground but the sign has been removed. This could be the sign that pointed out Old Toad Road. If anyone has any correct information on this please respond. Also they have recently put orange signs up back their that state the area is patrolled. If their is nothing back there then why patroll the area?

It costs nothing to enter the Gates of Hell per se, but I would suggest bringing 300 or 400 dollars in case the cops find you [technically you're trespassing, for which you'll get some hefty fines].

I went there a couple of times several years ago. During the day we went exploring all throughout the woods. About a few miles into the woods we found a neat old building foundation, but nothing really indicative of 7 real gates. However, when we revisted the road at night we saw a pickup truck with several locals in the back with a high powered spot light looking into the woods...it was strange. We took pictures of the woods at night from the car and almost everyone one had the little white spots, sometimes called orbs, that people associate with ghosts. This place is spooky but, unfortunately Im skeptical about the 7 gates site, however, there is an old house in Newville Pa (about 1.5 hrs away from the alleged 7 gates location) that we have had several amazing sightings which resulted in ligit photos and videos. To get there take Pa 81 south and get off the Newville exit (im not sure of the exit number) and head towards town. The house (people have called it the Mcallister house) is directly opposite of a small school.

There's a lot of conspiracy on this site alone. People saying it's not true, there is nothing back there,others saying it is in one's best interest to not go back there. I'm watching this movie, and this chick just threw up like six pints of blood. How the hell does that happen? Oh, anyway... I'm going back there within the week, both at day, and night. Yeah. I wrote this topic with directions along time ago, least it feels like. I have received numerous questions about the directions via myspace.com/itikuo and I would first like to point out,

The location I have submitted in the original message with directions is just a location I determined through researching one of the (2) possible where abouts of the "Gates". This is infact one of the possible locations that it is at. Whether it is the correct one is up to you all to figure out. Personally I felt standing at the gate and staring down the path that something horrible was indeed back there. Even at 8:30A.M when birds should be able to be heard still chirping away. It was silent. A stream runs off the road not far and you couldn't even hear that. I did take a few pictures but after having somemone professionally examine them they determined that the weird shadows in the photes were caused due to the 700k camera phone which is an inadequate way of detecting things.

Hence hearing this i deleted them from mypace.com/itikuo and from my computer. I no longer have them so please don't bother to ask. If you need directions they are posted on this site. This is all the information I have regarding this location of the possible "7 Gates of hell". As for police activity. Its located in some small hick ass part of York/Lebonan which they have a small police force and after speaking with a police officer told me they could care less about people going to that location. Anyone they ever did give out fines or arrest had drugs on them or were trespassing on the local residential property inwhich that person called the police.

When you take the directions you come to the end where your made to turn right. Directly ahead of you is a newer looking gate which i believe was an green color at the time visited. That is possibly your first gate or the new first gate cause the other gates were either removed, collapsed etc. I don't know. I have not personally been past that first new gate. Because to feel something that horrible in the day emitting from that location. I was not prepared.

Don't ask me to go with you. Someday I will go back on my own and resolve the problem. whether its the true "7 Gates to Hell" or not. There is definitely something fugged up taking place there and it needs to be removed.

Im Breeanna, and me and my friend daisy, and our cousin ike went to see were the 7 gates are. we found it.the street that Druck rd branches off of is Mt...somethin..lol i forget. but anyways, you pass a bunch of corn feilds, and realy nice houses. then ull come to trout run rd. then that roud will have a sign that says "pavement ends" then its all gravel.

the gates arnt tall and iron or anything...there just like regular gates...ull see 2 gates there both silver with some rust on it. but thers a shrub hinding the 1st gate! its painted red.

I like to see the place but i live in kansas. But they are there all around you and everyone else. Probably you have to go in to see and believe that they are there. To help you out so you can see more of ghost and scary demons out there, but you are trying to see the building right! Ghost or demons can't touch you if you believe in heaven or hell then you can not be touched, but they can touch you if they have red eyes. You should keep on going in the first gate of hell, to see it. But it does not seem to be that scary to me, but if i was there i can help you get in the gate way of hell to see more in there. There is a tunnel near the river. An underground tunnel. If your seeking real adventure go there. It's an open tunnel just follow the susquehanna river road. You can see the opening from the road. When entering the tunnel it will curve to left. On the side of the wall there is a latch. That's where the Harrisburg mental institution tunnels are connected with the Aberdeen Military proving ground tunnels, if they haven't caved it in yet. I wouldn't go there......Only if your brave enough to think you can make it back out, which is doubtful. But, if you do make it back out you may have a story to tell that could shock the nation. Hi breeanna....yeah i was reading this story about a guy that thought he went there and he was walking over the creek that said it would be there and then he hd to walk up this bigg hill and ended up in someones back yard..so they tried again and he said that they found it and they kept hearing screetches and seeing stuff....but i think once i get there i wont wanna walk..i just really wanna drive through it..so im gunna look up some more things to see if there is anyway you can drive through.

i went to the 7 gates after going to field of screams b/c it was lame. my friend thought it would be cool because it was the 7th, 2007 and there were 7 of us and the clock added up to 7. anyway we got there no probleme you go down the hill and there is a corn field on your right and when you go around a turn there is a pull off it is the 2nd gate. i was to scared to get out of the car but if u want to try it go head but no one has ever got passed the 5th gate. o and almost every time there are loud screams and sometimes you start throwing up and bad until u get out of there

I drove to the seven gates of hell two years ago. We followed the directions and found the first gate. Which is probably not the supposed first gate of hell. It's just another plain gate to keep vehicles out. We parked the car, got out and jumped the gate. Walked down the hill and ran into a big god damn river. There is nothing there. We didn't just turn back there, we kept walking around the woods and nothing happened. I've read the stories of others who were in the same situation and actually crossed the river. They said they ended up in a corn field, pissed off that they drove so far for nothing. CAN ANYBODY EVEN FIND EVIDENCE OF AN INSAME ASYLUM IN HELLAM, PA???? I searched for evidence to find if one even existed and came up empty handed. You would think that an incident such as this would be on record somewhere but it isn't. Someone please find me evidence that this place existed. Because without this evidence, this place is just an urban myth.

The story of the people who crossed the river and wound up in someones back yard... yea they started looking again and found a path, started seeing some things until they realized it was a TRUCK coming down the path. The story didn't say anything about screams. Just noises. Wow imagine that, hearing noises in the middle of the woods. These people were scared by their own shadow! well my story isn't as intersting but here it is. We were driving around toad road spotting deer and it was a full moon out and as all of you very well know that the first gate starts there but you cant drive through you would have to walk. well me my cousin and his girlfriend were in the car and we stopped beside it and my cuz'z girlfriend never knew the stories of the gates so we explained to her and we just sat in the car lookin at the gate. Now i have to admit we are all chicken shit. none of us wood get out and go stand infront of the gate. But we drove away and I always have to look over my shoulders to make sure we wernt eing followed or that no ghost caught a ride in the back of the car as we are leaving. But i thought i saw a shadow near the gate but i could have just been seeing things so...thats how interesting my storie is.

I am ex military and facinated with the paranormal, I own my own company and have 3 people work for me full time and we travel the country insearch of the things that go bump in the night. Ive been to the tunnels that lead towards the gates. Beware most were caved in and all of them are problably caved in by now. I did hear sounds in the distance but I kept going. The story of the man with a chain saw is a myth and you problably were on some ones property and he was chasing you away. One story I have heard over and over is the jeep chasing you down the road and disapeering, I believe it is true. When I went up there I did my research a few nights before and walked up that road, I saw the jeep in the distance with a night vision scope, it just sits there, in my opinion its a security gaurd or military police familiar with the roumors and like to fuck with people that come up there. The fear you feel when you are standing in front of the tunnel is un-explainable and walking it is just as bad, you feel it in your stomach like a really cold feeling that you shouldnt be there and night vision makes it evern worst cause you see reflections in the distance that end up being bats.

Once you get to the old institution its is a mision in its self to find your way up to the first floor and out the main entrance, you know when you are getting closer to the institution because there are alot of old beds and creepy looking stretchers and other questionable medical supplies stored down there. My associates and I got lucky, the building looks like shit, but we managed to find a very poor rendering of a plaquered showing the main entrance, medical ward and other such important places. opon exiting a window( the main foyer and hall ways surrounding were destroyed) we saw a stone gate in the distance surrounded by tall grass and a creepy tree with a few crows cauking away. We set up camp for the evening and did several tests through the night. There is a defenant paranormal presence there, infact one of the strongest we have ever came apon. I have been doing this for more than 12 years now and that was the scariest 3 days of my life. The rest of the gates are scatered throughout the property and looked run down and rusty and we did hear what it sounded like moans around us and did feel weaker and faint the farther we went. I do not fore see my self ever going there ever again.

Two young cousins of mine, breanna and Daisy, talked me into taking them to the seven gates of hell location in Mt. Wolf PA. Sun Oct. 21st.
I was taking them home right after, and it was near dusk.
All we did was a drive down trout run road to find it.
We did find a red gate, with an overgrown trail.
The girls would not get out of the truck, they were afraid.
I took the girls home. It was Sunday Oct. 21st.
On Sunday Oct. 28th I invited two sisters of mine into Halloween and ghosts to go for a drive on trout run road to look for some.
Only one could go, and we took some of her kids.
We each brought along digital cameras.
One of her oldest boys Zach 17 and our nephew Chris 25 asked to get out and walk when we neared the part of the dirt road with the red gate.
We dropped them off.
They were not there when we got back.
It was almost dusk, so we went looking for them, figuring they wen't beyond the gate.
We also had along my 7 yr old nephew matthew, a real adventurer.
We followed the overgrown trail deeper into the woods. No houses around.
The trees, mostly larger evergreen hemlocks, oaks, and Beech trees, made the forest all the more spooky. The ground was covered with leaves and twigs which cracked beneath each footstep.
The trail wound downwards as it got darker and the trees bigger.
Cool and large rock formations began to appear as we approached a swift running creek, the Codorus. The white sycamore trees looked haunting in the fading light, as they were dotted along the banks of the creek.
We found Zach and Chris at the end of the trail, they were exploring the area as the currents of the stream swiftly ran by.
The area was pretty fascinating with oddly shapped trees and rock embankments, with the dark forest and the rapidly flowing water as a backdrop.
We started to take photos, posing on spooky trees, or just of the eery scenery.
My sister Mimi then left out a gasp, and got noticeably excited.
She had captured something on her camera.
I looked at it, and sure enough there were round orb like white or green bubbles in the photo. They were outlined by glowing halos. various sizes, each having a face in them, which resemble skulls. Two dark eye sockets, nose cavity,
and mouth area.
We all then made a hasty retreat back up the trail, my sister and Matt paving the way in the now darkness. I took numerous photos and so did my sister.
On the way home we examined the photos. It was unbelievable. There were countless orbs, faces, skulls.
There were even some photos with white forms, visible outlines of moving figures,
and as if to give credit to the name seven gates of hell, Satan is in several pictures.
In one photo I captured of my sister as she is running, the devil is actually behind her clearly visible horns, eyes and all.
Closer examination on our home computers wer'e incredible.
The photos have no logical explanation.
After visiting these woods, it is easy to see why ghosts are portrayed as white figures and skulls, and the soul as an orb of energy to haunt the earth.
The common conception of how the Devil looks has also be reinforced by visiting these woods.
I am certainly glad to have been there.
It is unfortunate, but there are numerous pink ribbons and surveying activity at the site. These spirits may have houses to haunt soon.

my boyfriend and i were planning on going to the seven gates with a couple of friends..and after reading a lot of these i really want to know where it is. ive heard of one being in frankin county and then ive heard of one being near dixie caverns. if anyone has any information they can give and especially directiions that would be great. we're going tomorrow night on halloween..thought it would make that much more scary if anything really does happen of if its just a big hoax. so if someone could get back to me asap that would be great. maegansuttles@yahoo.com

The 7 gates are tunnels to reptilians and the electronic Haarp machine expeirmentation in MIND CONTROL. Be careful. Don't get too involved. Just try and have fun. If you make it back. Forget about it. Then go on about your life. Although your life may never be be same again. You won't know this though cause of the mind control.

Well it was halloween night tonight, and I passed out some candy at home, hoping that there would be a party to go to somewhere but finding nothing, considering it is a wednesday night. So my friend suggested that we go visit the gates of hell, i had never been, and only heard stories. So our group of four heads out, at first we went the totally wrong way because my friend thought he remembered but really didnt lol, so i called someone to give me directions. We pulled off by a corn feild and went through the metal gates. Everything was fine at first, I wasn't scared at all, we just kept walking til two of the guys with me had to stop to take a piss, lol. So we were all standing when suddenly we heard heavy footsteps coming from behind us. My first reaction was that it was cops, but we turned around and shown our lights in that direction and it stopped. Then it immediately started behind us again. We walked a little longer and the noises got so intense we figured we should just get out of there. I had brought a ouija board with us, so that we could try to contact a spirit there. We sat in my car at the side of the road with the hood up in case a cop came we would just say the car overheated or something. So we got out the ouija board and asked if anyone was with us. Amazingly, right away we got an answer, "Yes" (now i know that many people think that ouija boards are totally a hoax but i had seen crazy things with this board in the past at a haunted house that my sister lives in, where ghosts have been sighted by people who claim to not even believe in ghosts, so i trust it). So then we asked it "What is your first name" It spelled out "ETHEL" we asked if it was ethel, it said yes. We asked its last name, it responded "TRIG" we asked if it was trig, and it said yes. We asked it what year it was, and it said "1467" which idk if that could even be true but whatever. thats what it said. Then we asked what town it was born in, and it spelled out "HERE" then we asked it if it minded that we were asking so many questions, and it said "YES" so we asked if it would like us to stop, and it said "YES" so, not wanting to piss off any ghosties, we spelled out thank you and good bye, and left. My friend got out to put the hood of my car down, and said he felt something touching his hair, and push his hat down on his face. We drove off amazed at how we had experienced so much after only going so far in the woods. It was a pretty neat experience, I don't know that I would ever want to get to the further gates, but i would definitely like to check some records to see if there is anything on an ethel trig. if anyone has any info or just wants to share a story, my email is xa1mostfamousx@aol.com

people actually do bring cameras and recorders and stuff but when a person gets spooked to the extreme that much to where they start running they would probably drop it because it slows you down a looooooot when running. but people still have videos and pictures u just have to find them or email the people.

and for the scifi thing, the ghost hunters are trained professionals...not demented idiots like us teenagers and early 20's who think we are badasses and dont get scared.
