I've never been much of a science buff, and taxonomy was a subject that never interested me in the past. Now I find a use for classifications, go figure! Our new home site is heavily influenced in Taxonomy and vocabulary.

Taxonomy is the study of classification. Drupal's taxonomy module allows you to define categories which are used to classify content. The module supports hierarchical classification and association between terms, allowing for truly flexible information retrieval and classification.
